Virgin Voyages: Western Caribbean Charm on the Scarlet Lady - Day 4 (Part 2) - Scarlet Night
After our morning excursions in Roatan, we headed back to the Scarlet Lady and checked into the on-board Redemption Spa where we had thermal suite passes and massages booked. The thermal suite—with its hydrotherapy pool, sauna, steam room, and even a mud room—is a nice retreat from the excitement on-board the ship, and after a long day in the sun, unwinding there was a great reset before the evening festivities - Scarlet Night! (More on that in a minute.)
After the spa we got dressed and headed to dinner at The Wake. This steakhouse restaurant quickly became one of my favorite spots on the ship—not just for the incredible food but for the entire vibe. The absolute best thing? The Parker House rolls. They were so ridiculously good that we actually canceled our reservation at Lucky Lotus on the last night just so we could go back to The Wake and have them one more time. No regrets.
While we were at The Wake, the rest of the ship was transformed into a glowing sea of red for Virgin Voyages’ signature event—Scarlet Night. Guests, all dressed in red, became part of the spectacle as pop-up performances, mysterious characters, and an electric energy filled every deck, leading up to the epic, can’t-miss pool party under the stars.
