Lightning Lane Premier Pass is the newest and most premium option. It gives you one-time Lightning Lane access to each eligible attraction in a park in a single day, with no need to book individual return times. It's the priciest choice and availability is limited, but it's the most flexible if you want to skip the planning.
A note on pricing: Lightning Lane pricing is dynamic, so it changes daily by park and date. As a rough 2026 guide, Multi Pass tends to run about $16 to $39 per person per day, Single Passes about $11 to $24 per ride, and Premier Pass is a significant step up from there. Magic Kingdom is usually the most expensive park and Animal Kingdom the least. Always check the My Disney Experience app for the live price on your date before you buy.
What Is the Lightning Lane Multi Pass?
The Multi Pass allows you to bypass the standby lines for multiple attractions and shows across a park. It gives you flexibility to secure your preferred attractions in advance and manage your time in the park more effectively.
How to Purchase the Lightning Lane Multi Pass
1. When Can You Purchase?
Guests staying at eligible Walt Disney World hotels: make pre-arrival selections up to 7 days before your visit.
All other guests: purchase and select attractions up to 3 days before your visit.
2. Finding the Purchase Page
Home page: look for the prominent card on the My Disney Experience app's homepage.
Tip Board: access the purchase page via the top of the Tip Board screen.
3. Selecting Your Date and Park
Choose date: select the date of your visit from the calendar.
Select park: choose the park you plan to visit, such as Disney's Hollywood Studios.
4. Choosing Your Pass
You'll see options for both Multi Pass and Single Pass. Tap Lightning Lane Multi Pass to proceed.
5. Selecting Guests
Select all eligible guests for whom you're purchasing, making sure you include the entire party.
6. Attraction Selection
Top-tier attractions: select one attraction from the top tier.
Lower-tier attractions: choose up to two from the lower tier (or all three from the lower tier if you prefer).
Attractions are grouped into tiers to manage demand. Popular rides like Slinky Dog Dash can sell out quickly, so have alternates ready.
7. Finalizing Your Selection
Modify selections: you can adjust your choices within a short window before finalizing. Tap "modify time" to see alternative return times.
Complete purchase: once you're happy, confirm. Your Multi Pass details appear on your My Disney Experience homepage and under the "My Day" tab.
How to Purchase a Lightning Lane Single Pass
For high-demand headliners not covered by Multi Pass, use a Single Pass:
Check eligibility: guests at eligible hotels can buy up to 7 days ahead; other guests up to 3 days ahead.
Find the purchase page: via the app homepage card or the top of the Tip Board.
Select date and park, then tap Lightning Lane Single Pass to view available attractions and times.
Choose your attraction (up to two per day) and select the guests who'll use the pass.
Review and complete your purchase. Details live in the app under "My Day."
Tips for Using Lightning Lane
Pre-select early: if you're at an eligible hotel, use the pre-arrival window to lock in your best attractions and times.

Use the modify button to refresh: just like the old Genie+ "refresh" trick, you can toggle the "Modify Plan" and "Close" buttons to hunt for better return times without giving up your current reservation.
New times drop throughout the day: reservations get refilled at set times, so combine regular refreshing with the modify button to grab extra Lightning Lanes as the day goes on.
Plan around Park Hopping: with a Park Hopper ticket you can use Multi Pass across parks at no extra charge, but you must use your first Lightning Lane before making selections in a second park (otherwise you may owe a price difference).
